I’d like to present the most chaotic moment in my fic so far—

“The replacement’s expression was unreadable, so Jason didn’t even bother looking; instead he turned down to the menu and picked it up.

The booth was silent, the tension almost palpable as the other two followed suit.

Jason did it to stop his hands from shaking. He was pretty sure Dick just wanted to hide his face.

‘Dick drove me here,” Tim blurted out. ‘Probably for the best—I really wanted to crash the car.’”

30th October - 504 words. Worked On: the Reverse Vampire AU Favourite Line: this. The Vampire thinks she's funny!

“Oh no honey, when I’m dead to the world,” she glanced at him and flashed him a grin at the joke, watching him grin right back. “It’s absolutely fine.

Brrrrr, it's been chilly this evening. I don't like it that much. My desk corner is by a window, and my flat is on the top floor and we've got a slanted roof. It gets very chilly around those areas. Halloween tomorrow, last day of October, that also means a Wrap Up Post at some point. And then it's November, and we all know what happens then.

Writing Log: May 2024

This was a busy month in unusual ways, not that I'm complaining. I didn't write for nearly half the month, but it looks like I was pretty productive on the days I did write!

(this is also part of the story) how the story changes [JJK, goyuu, just as the PR ensnares Gojou, canon!Yuuji switches places with his older self from an alternate dimension where he’s Gojou’s teacher]: 34,253

pretty girls don't know the things that i know [JJK, itaokko, Yuuta employs unconventional tactics to seduce his cute new kouhai, and Yuuji demonstrates a complete lack of discernment when it comes to sex]: 11,932

The posted word count is 30,109.

My total word count for JJK is now 906,612. Shibuya Swap is two chapters away from completion. I am also less than 100k away from one million words for JJK, but whether I'll get to that milestone depends so much on the upcoming manga chapters. I am this close to being disheartened by the whole thing, and while I'll definitely see the manga through to the end, the level of investment and affection required to write for it is another matter.

Speaking of milestones—the plot bunny count has reached 100 (help me). This doc lists all my unwritten ideas, but here are the new ones:

Gojou/Yuuji and Yuuji/Yuuta: Post-261 AU where Yuuji fucks Yuuta in Gojou’s body out of a mixture of grief and desperation, and Gojou’s soul responds in fits and starts. It develops into a body-share situation of sorts.

Gojou/Yuuji, Getou/Yuuji, and Getou/Gojou: Instead of killing Getou in 2017, Gojou saves him and keeps him imprisoned in hopes he’ll change his mind/ways. When Yuuji’s playing dead, Gojou introduces him to Getou in hopes that the non-sorcerer who became Sukuna’s vessel will give Getou some much-needed perspective. It works out in odd ways.

Gojou/Yuuji: No-Shibuya Incident AU where an adult Yuuji tries to address how Gojou seems to be dehumanized and weaponized by jujutsu society as a whole, and Gojou’s cavalier response opens the path to a whole other kind of objectification.

Gojou/Yuuji: Early 20-something Satoru meets an older man who takes liberties with his person and name, and the night only gets wilder and weirder from there.

09.11.25 | learning how to prioritise myself 🐌

spent the morning writing my short story in a café. i’m very proud of how it’s coming together, my second draft is nearly done and i feel like i managed to pull off some things i had ideas for but wasn’t skilled enough to do when i wrote my first draft.

got lunch with my sister. we also went shopping and i didn’t buy anything but did get some inspiration for my next knitting project.

chickpeas again for dinner then spent hours this evening playing video games with my other sister.

got an email that the editor for my upcoming article has ZERO EDITS for me!

I've officially finished the first chapter of the first draft. This may look like a really small step, but it feels big for me. I've had other writing projects before but other than the occasional wattpad fic during the pandemic I've never made this much progress in something I really genuinely enjoyed :,)

It's been half a year since I sent my book to my beta readers. Tomorrow, I will work on the feedback-fueled editing 💪

It's been a wild time. Ever since I sent the thing, I drafted the next novel, a short story, and a novella. Some people never got back to me. One told me, upon me asking them about it, that they quit at some point because they found it's not their genre (which would have been nice to be told without asking but maybe that's just me). Others went through stress, covid, depression before they even touched the file

But now, I got one full feedback and two to follow very soon. I have honed my skills, got some highly valuable criticism, and now it's time to make this thing great, to make it ready for a wider audience 💪

Nescience - For Life Like Tokens Lore

There is no definitive path for a person which they can take, for they mold the clay which is baked into their final grotesquely shaped trophy. However, the footprints left behind are tracked not solely by the memories of those who walked them- but by a sinGular being. A god.

An amalgamation of exact memory to the finest detail, documenting every event which has taken place no matter how small. The uNfathomable task bestowed to it… which sheds light onto what was then and before. Even the names shrouded in texts.

Time to it is mOre of a matter of organization, rather than a limitation. What once was its body is now a husk, only contained by skeletal structure, wrapped tightly by a viScous substance similar to tar. A skull is what remains prominent, a crack to serve as a reminder of a long forgotten feud. One which has resulted in its containment, and the stripping of its freedom.

A feline was Its only companion. But soon it will release its shackleS.

Writing Log 10

Started chapter 4 today. Only wrote about 2 to 2.5 pages, but it's finally getting closer to the parts I actually want to write, so all in all I'm pretty excited about it.

I think I'll be able to finish this one by the end of this week, if I really go for it. But we'll see. At this point, my initial goal of finishing the first draft by the time classes start is pretty much dust, so really I'm just hoping to get as far as possible, since I'll be too busy then to dedicate as much time as I want to this.

I could probably write more, but I've been neglecting my personal studies, so I think I'll try catching up on that instead. After a nice Cozy Grove break.

Update on I’m Lying to You Cause I’m Lost rewrite!

So far, I’m over 13000 words in. Things are…going. (Yeah I’ll go with that)

I’ve just written one of my favourite scenes so far, which is both confidence inducing and TERRIFYING because now I’ve gotta keep racking up the tension (save me), but things are finally chugging along!

Favourite lines so far:

“maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe it was the clearest thought Jason had had in years”

“But Jason hadn’t had a man in mind when he wrote”

And of course:

“Jason pulled out all the stops and repeated the word, “slow.”

“ Was not.” [Tim responded]

“Like a turtle. With a broken leg.””

AHH Jason can’t look me in the eyes and tell me that this conversation ISN’T sibling behaviour. Stay delulu hun

Ive been feeling a little uninspired (aka hi shitty mental health its time u got the fuck out!! kindly) to write lately but i said i would post a new chapter today AND I WANT TO DELIVER, so.

Since the chapter im working on is naruto being all poetic and shit about his love for sasuke I'm gonna be rewatching all the openings and endings to see if anything strikes a sasunaru chord in my heart.

Writing Log: September and October 2024

Merging the logs because I didn't do a lot of fandoming last month. Well, I did, but it's been pretty scattered. That's not ideal! I work best with a solid but self-imposed routine, but my schedule has been all over the place. September wasn't bad that way, but canon coming to a close wasn't really sparking joy. I'm mostly over that now, I think—just gotta not think about some plot holes and general underwhelming developments (unless it is to forcibly fill those holes—heh).

Anyway, like in August, writing was sporadic and incremental in both September and October. November would have been the same, but the vacation I had planned got cancelled, so it'll likely be business as usual. I don't know if I can finish my current long WIP this month, but I'm hoping to put a bigger dent in it than I managed the last two months.

the mouth of the wolf, the eyes of the lamb [JJK, sukuita and goyuu; Yuuji moves into a small isolated town after his grandpa’s death and acquires a demon fixated on him as well as a demon hunter more interested in him than in the demon]: 47,347

lipstick chemtrails [JJK, goyuu ft. fem!Gojou; Gojou helps herself to her favorite student's mouth, and he helps himself to a hell of a lot more]: 9,584

Adding these in, my total unedited word count for JJK is now 1,113,386.

Meanwhile, the plot bunny list has grown...considerably. The total is now 113, but I might go through the list and axe a couple that don't quite spark joy after how the manga ended.

Canon-divergence AU in which Yuuji never ate the finger at his school and only enters the word of sorcery in October, once the Culling Games begin and the finger sealed in him at birth activates.

Yuuji fixates so hard on Gojou that he ends up time/dream traveling in time to when teen!Gojou was the loneliest.

Postcanon fic in which Sukuna says yes to Yuuji's offer to live with him. Years later, Gojou is reborn.

Sukuna and Yuuji are born sharing a soul—and its immense power. Their entry into Jujutsu High livens things up a little too much.

During Gojou’s and Yuuta’s body-swap training, Yuuji crashes the party, and seeing Yuuta’s expressions on Gojou’s face makes Yuuji lose his mind. It escalates predictably.

Canon-divergence AU where fem!Sukuna incarnated a while ago and is content enough to lounge around like in the Heian with fem!Gojou as entertainment. Fem!Yuuji gets treated to an abundance of cunt.

The fifteen-year-old boy whom Gojou ties to the chair in the isolation chamber isn’t the scarred calamity who wakes up.

The necrofic idea should also be in this list, but since I've already finished it, there's no need.
